Nadine Hack has been internationally recognized for her proven expertise in strategic planning, creative problem solving, insightful policy analysis, and politically sensitive negotiations. She has provided innovative guidance to and helped to create crucial partnerships for institutions in multiple sectors. Nadine has imparted tactical direction for beCause Global Consulting’s various campaigns, collaborations and special initiatives held throughout the world for over three decades.
Nadine Hack has throughout her life and career, tried to engage in conscious conversation. She thinks of it as mediating, facilitating, collaborating and mentoring. It is at its core it is “connectedness” that encompasses a kind of mutual respect, kindness, empathy, and embodies the idea that we’re all connected in a very fundamental way, despite our differences. This “connectedness” is at the core of the raison d’être of beCause Global Consulting. beCause helps individuals and organizations connect to their own core purpose, by building and sustaining trust (none of which is ever easy).
Nadine Hack has extensive experience with the United Nations, where she has served as the NYC Commissioner for the UN, Consular Corps and International Business, as well as the city's senior official liaison with the world's largest diplomatic and business communities. Nadine has served as an advisor to heads of state and other senior government officials, CEO’s of corporations, as well as leaders of foundations and NGOs. She was also president of the Sister City Program of the City of New York, where she formulated and managed financial, technical, educational, and cultural and sports exchanges with other cities globally.
Nadine Hack has advised two UN Secretaries-General, and various departments of the Secretariat and many specialized UN agencies, as well as heads of state and senior government officials. These have included President Corazon Aquino of the Philippines and President Nelson Mandela of South Africa, among others.
Her philanthropic work includes: the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Ford Foundation, Robert F Kennedy Center, Rockefeller Foundation, Elton John AIDS Foundation, Global Citizens Circle, Ms. Foundation, Doctors of the World, Amnesty International USA, National Summit on Africa and White House Project among others. Nadine was also Board Chair of the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation and has served as a non-executive director on for- and not-for profit boards.
She has given keynote speeches at conferences, graduations and major gatherings, which have included TEDx. Nadine also makes private presentations for boards and senior executives. She’s had articles written about or published by her in The Financial Times, Forbes, Huffington Post, The New York Times, ReWiring Business, The Library of Professional Coaching, to name a few. Nadine Hack has appeared extensively on television, radio, Internet, and she is part of the women expert brain trust on-line at SheSource.
Nadine has worked with corporations that include AOL/Time Warner, Aprica Kassai Industries, Cisco Systems, Coca-Cola, Chevron Texaco, Deutsche Telecom, Fujitsu Siemens, Levi Straus & Company, MTV Networks, Reebok International and Volkswagen.
